(1) Gallery A: Khmer Civilization
"The Origin of Khmer Empires Story"
One of the mysteries is how the Khmer Empire was established. Learn what drove the ancient Khmer civilization to create one of the world’s most colossal structures ever. Explore the Khmer peoples’ faith in their great kings and delve into the stories of ancient wars that once ravaged these tranquil lands.

첫번째 겔러리 A는.. 크메르 왕조의 이야기.
이곳에서 미스테리로 남아있는 크메르제국의 이야기를 만날 수 있습니다.
고대의 이야기... 마치 신화속의 한 장면 같은 이 곳의 이야기들입니다.

(2) Gallery B: Religion and Beliefs
"The reflection of Khmer's beliefs"
To gain a deeper understanding of any culture, one should study its beliefs. The religions in the Khmer empire have both directly and indirectly effected all aspects of Khmer civilization, including literary works, sculptures, architecture and even daily life. Visitors will finally learn the same exciting legends and unique folk tales that motivated the civilization of Angkor for centuries.

바로 힌두문화. 그리고 후기의 불교입니다.
그 당시 크메르인들의 생활상을 알수 있는 전시관. 각종 문학장품, 조각품, 건축물, .. 심지어 일상 생활까지 모두 만날 수 있습니다.

(3) Gallery C: Great Khmer Kings
"The Great Inventors"
History shows that there were four particularly notable Khmer kings who made the Khmer Empire one of the world's greatest civilizations. Let the historical pride come alive through time and the stories of the four great inventors unfold.
King Jayavarman II, the king who united the two kingdoms of Tchen-La during the years 802-850 C.E.
King Yasovarman I, the king who established Angkor as the capital between the years 889-900 C.E.
King Soryavarman II, the king who built Angkor Wat between 1116-1145 C.E.
King Jayavarman VII, the king who built Angkor Thom between the years 1181-1201 C.E.

이곳을 만들기 위한 대규모 관계 시설에서 부터 공공시설까지... 이 엄청난 건축물을 만날 수 있습니다.

(6) Gallery F: Story from Stone
"The Evidence of the Past"
The stone inscriptions found throughout Angkor record important historical events and serve as a proof that such a grand world once existed. Such inscriptions provide us with a window back in time to the lives, beliefs, and various legends of the ancient Khmer empire.
Just as important, the stone inscriptions provide evidence of the ancient language of the region and offer opportunities for linguists to preserve the wonderful language. Inscriptions at the museum have been translated into current Cambodian and delivered to audiences by the application of sound dome technology.

비문(비석)이 알려주는 크메르유적.
예. 사실 크메르의 대부분의 역사는 이 비문에서 시작되었습니다. 앙코르 전역에서 발견된 돌 비문이 이 곳에 전시되어있습니다.
대부분 우리가 알수 없는 산스크리트어로 되어있지만, 현재는 캄보디아로 번역되어 사운드 돔 기술로 느낄 수 있습니다.

(7) Gallery G: Ancient Costume
"The Fascination of Apsara"
Another spectacular example of art is the ancient Khmer clothing illustrated by sculptures of gods, goddesses, and the celestial dancers, or Apsara. Ancient garments denoted status in society as did the beautiful jewelry and accessories. The styles of costumes can accurately differentiate amongst the ancient Angkorian periods used by archeologists and scholars.

당야한 압살라의 조각상을 만날 수 있는 전신관입니다. 앙코르 유적군의 그 수많은 압살라 조각상이 모두 모양이 다르죠.
이는 실제로 이 당시의 전통복장, 장식품, 악세서리... 등등 그 당시의 지위와 문화를 알 수 있는 전시관입니다.
